MTB Missoula is excited to equip the next generation of enthusiastic mountain bike riders in our community by continuing the Missoula Youth MTB Library for its second season in 2025. Our library will provide seasonal rentals, free of charge, for kids stoked to hit the trails this summer. Borrowers will receive a mountain bike to use from April to October, along with a helmet (to keep) and a lock (to borrow) to help keep the rider, and the bike, in good shape for the season.

 

Interested borrowers will be provided a bike on a first come, first serve basis until our inventory of bikes runs out. This program is for you if you agree with the following statements:

 

• The borrower desires a bike to use on the mountain bike trails surrounding Missoula and beyond. Bikes are not loaned out for the intention of using them to get around town, BUT! -- if you need a bike for this purpose  Free Cycles has many kids bikes for free or a small donation depending on age.

•  Borrower and an accompanying adult must be available to pick up your bike at our lending event on April 26th, 2025 10am-12pm at Free Cycles

• Have the ability via car, public transportation, or by riding your library bike to access local trailheads. We have many recommendations!

 

Parents and guardians must request on behalf of their child. Once admitted, guardians should fill out the waiver emailed to them within 2 business days to reserve their bike.
